When you drive onto the farm, you may encounter our flock of chickens. Jimmy and Jeff, our Dominique roosters (yes our kids are NASCAR fans), stand watch over their 19 hens (16 Dominiques and 3 Ameraucanas). Our chickens roam free on the farm during daylight hours and are housed safely in their coop at night. They are fed an organic layer mash to supplement their foraging.
For 2012, we are selling these free-range eggs locally for $2.50/dz.
